BANBA
The story of Fodla, Eriu and Banba is an ancient story from the book of invasions. It tells of the sons of mill returning to Ireland.Their ancestors had ruled this island in the distant past but their people had never forgotten this paradise, and now they had at last made it back. When they arrived they were met by three 3 hooded figures the three that are one the sprits of the land. Amergin, their mage (druid), had been sent to speak with the three. At this time the Tuatha De Danann lived in Ireland and the goddesses did not think that these people honoured the land. They promised to stand with the sons of mill in battle if they were to look after the land. Each of the goddesses came to Amergin and promised to move against the Tuatha De Danna if they called the land after her. Gods depend upon the worship of men for sustenance and therefore every time their name would be spoken they would draw strength from that. Amergin promised them all he would call the land after them and to fulfil this promise he instructed the three sons of Mill to call the land three diffrent names and thus keeping his word.
